I also raided my dad’s drill bit collection and got a nice sharp cobalt bit
It can drill through both sides of the frame and the new subframe quicker than the harbor fright bit drills through one side.

I bought a set of Harbor Freight Cobalt bits about a year ago that I’ve been really happy with. You never know with Harbor Freight though. Could probably go buy the same set now and get complete junk.

nope, they’re done that way for an extra bit of ground clearance i think.

It just looks like there could be interference with the frame.
I may also be thinking of shorter arms that are bent like that.

It should be fine once I hack off the factory LCA mounts as per the instructions.
